Facebook post, July 13, 2013; 10:02 p.m. - No justice!!!  No peace!!!!  No justice!!!  No peace!!!!  If it aint been clear from the last 400 years it's definitely clear now!  Florida has shown they don't care!  The let a 17 year-old boy get straight MURDERED by some racist, wanna-be cop and let that MURDERER walk!  That right took us back 50 60 years!  WE MUST STAND UP NOW AND PROTECT OUR CHIDLREN AND OUR MEN BECAUSE AMERICA IS THE SAME AS 1960!!  My heart is heavy for our kids because clearly its WAR out there!!!  That's why we gotta take things to OUR OWN HANDS!! Zimmerman dont think you got away because GOD get the LAST SAY!!

These aren't your fathers' revolutionaries.  Nope, these people fight the power only for a couple days, or hours, or when it feels pretty appropriate, if it's not too hot out, or cold, or if the problem isn't too close.  We ain't standing in no lines (unless Beyonce is in town), or sitting in in no restaurants, or walking anywhere.  We don't have the 'by any means necessary' attitude...unless it concerns the club, or the concert.  We are the privileged children of the actual African-Americans who gave their lives to improve our conditions.  You know, the ones we honor when it's time to vote for a black president.  But more frequently, we honor them by dropping out of the high schools they fought to integrate, frivolously spending the money they fought for us to earn, and the ever popular self-genocide that we've perfected since 1986.  That's why I can't help but chuckle at us when the media tells us to be upset at something; because we all know we don't care that much.

And why should we?  I mean, we got our Benz and our Beamer.  We bought that house in Chesterfield. What's the purpose for a sit-in, or a rally, or a non-violent or even a violent protest?  We're free!  So what if a kid gets shot by an undercover white supremacist?  And so what if the Confederate...uh...state government clears it? At least that's not happening everyday like it did 50 years ago.  I mean, we do it ourselves now but that's different.  And besides, the we term is relative.  Because with my Benz and my Chesterfield house I'm not in the we category.  Naw, that's them killing themselves.

Alright, alright...before you get all hostile, thinking I'm talking specifically about you, relax.  We're all in the same boat.  To that end, you can miss me with all that 'my heart is heavy' and 'what a tragedy' talk.  Because at the end of the day, you're going to the same place where the tragedy happened for business and/or pleasure.  More than likely, the later; and that's perfectly fine.  Seriously, it is.  It's a totally different game these days; and the current revolutionist should probably more consistently vocal about Jesus' return than some bigot that can't fight.  So just come to grips with it...you will certainly fund the same racist politicians that put Stand Your Ground laws on the books.  You'll buy out the bar at Wet Willies on South Beach.  You will overlook the horrific death in your own hometown, unless it makes national news, or unless you can post about it; bringing attention to yourself in some way...claiming you acted against it and present to be the great community philanthropist.  You will continue to contribute to the problem; until your kid gets murdered by a racist.  But don't worry, we'll be sure to express our extreme disgust with it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  That is, unless your kid is killed by another black kid.  In that case we'll just keep quiet...because what's outrageous about that?
